Hat-tricks were the decisive factor in an otherwise close encounter at Hollyfields against a Kids Out Charity XI. Derek Dudley in the Villa goal on more than one occasion was called upon to produce good stops but it was Martin Carruthers & Ryan Amoo who took the plaudits with a hat-trick each. Lots of 'ammunition' was supplied to the front two by a midfield of Cowans, Morley, Gibson & Pearson with Morley & Gibson contributing with one apiece to make the final score 8-2.
